I2S (Inter-IC Sound)

I2S Protocol Analyzer settings. For Channel UI differences by product family, see Settings.

Supported Models

TravelBus

All TB1000/TB2000/TB3000 models are supported except F series.

LA3000/LA4000

LA3000 is supported only on B/Plus series, all LA4000 models are supported.

TravelLogic

TL3000 is supported only on B series, all TL4000 models are supported.

BusFinder

BF6000 is supported only on B series, all BF7000 models are supported.

Protocol Exerciser

PX2816B is supported.

MSO2000/3000

MSO1000/MSO2000 16-channel models are supported, all MSO3000 models are supported.

TravelScope 3000

All TS3000 models are supported.

Settings

I2S Settings

I2S Protocol Analyzer settings (TravelLogic series)
  • Settings:
    • Mode: Audio frame format (I2S / Left justified / TDM / PCM). A wrong setting misaligns word boundaries. Default: I2S.
    • Frequnecy: Analysis sample rate (UI label spelling; e.g. 2 MHz / 10 MHz / 50 MHz). Too low may fail on high-speed I2S. Default: 2 Mhz (first list item).
    • Clock: Data latch edge (Rising Latch / Falling Latch). A wrong setting can shift decoding. Default: Rising Latch.
    • Data Bits: Effective bits per sample (1–32). Default: 16.
