Settings

10BASE-T1S Settings

10BASE-T1S Protocol Analyzer settings (TravelLogic series)
  • Settings:
    • Preamble Count: Allowed preamble count range (Max–Min). Out of range may report Preamble Error. Main Default does not reset this field; UI often starts at Max 6, Min 1.
    • Sample Rate: Analysis sample rate (typical 200 MHz / 100 MHz). Too low may fail to decode. Default: 200 MHz.
    • Reference Point Adjust: Decode reference points (1st Position / 2nd Position, ns). A wrong setting can skew bit sampling. Default: 1st 20 ns, 2nd 60 ns.
  • Trigger settings:

    • Error triggers: Frame Error / Not In Table / Preamble Error / FCS Error. Default: all cleared.
    • Event Trigger: Trigger on Ethernet frame fields; when checked opens MII Trigger Settings (see popup notes). Use XXh for don't-care bytes. Default: cleared.
      • Destination / Source Address: 6-byte MACs; XXh = don't care per byte.
      • Ethertype/Length: 2 bytes (may be don't care) for type/length.
      • Data: Match payload by Data Type (e.g. Raw Data / IPv4); Offset, IPv4 addresses, or Raw Data Byte 1–8.
      • Default: Restore the dialog to don't-care / default conditions.
    • Basic triggers: 10BASE-T1S symbol/frame events such as BEACON(08h), SYNC/COMMIT(18h), SSD(04h), ESDHB(0Dh), ESDBRS(07h), ESDOK(07h), ESDERR(11h), ESDJAB(19h), Start of Frame, End of Frame. Default: all cleared. When Event Trigger is checked, open MII Trigger Settings to trigger on Ethernet frame fields (for example a MAC, Ethertype, or payload pattern):
  • Destination / Source Address: 6-byte MACs; XXh = don't care per byte.

  • Ethertype/Length: 2 bytes (may be don't care).
  • Data: Match by Data Type (e.g. Raw Data / IPv4); Offset, IPv4 addresses, or Raw Data Byte 1–8.
  • Default: Restore don't-care / default conditions.
