PMBus (Power Management Bus)

PMBus (Power Management Bus) is an open power-management communications standard published in 2005 (Artesyn and partners) for data transfer, commands, and formats (similar in spirit to smart-battery standards).

PMBus Decode Settings
  • Channel:
    • Clock Channel (SCK): PMBus clock.
    • Data Channel (SDA): PMBus data.
  • Options:
    • 8-bit addressing (Including R/W in Address): Show 8-bit address (7-bit + Rd/Wr). Field enabled (Enable) when checked. Default: cleared.
    • PEC decode: Include PEC in analysis. Field enabled (Enable) when checked. Default: cleared.
  • Clock Stretching: Configure clock stretching. Field enabled (Enable) when checked. Default: cleared (timeout blank).
  • Ignore Glitch: Ignore slow-transition noise. Field enabled (Enable) when checked. Default: checked, < 2 sample points.
