Smart Card (ISO7816)
Smart Card is a communication protocol based on the ISO 7816 specification, generally used in IC cards or IC chip cards. Different IC chips have different functions and applications. It is mainly used for identification, recording, and encoding/decoding.
Incorrect Baud Rate, initial state, or Reset Timeout relative to the card causes decode failures. For channel-prefix differences, see Settings.
Decode Settings
- Channel:
- CLK: Clock channel. Field enabled (Enable) when checked. Default is checked.
- DATA: Data pin for transfer (required).
- RST: Reset channel. Field enabled (Enable) when checked. Default is checked.
- Baud Rate: Baud rate (including AUTO detection). Default is AUTO.
- Initial State: Decode start state (Reset / ATR.* / APDU.*). Default is Reset (waiting for ATR).
- Reset Timeout (ETU): Reset timeout in ETU (T=0 WWT commonly 9600). Default is 9600.
- MSB first: Use MSB-first bit order. Field enabled (Enable) when checked. Default is unchecked.
- Invert: Invert data. Field enabled (Enable) when checked. Default is unchecked.
