MIPI CSI LP (MIPI Camera Serial Interface LP Mode)

MIPI CSI (Mobile Industry Processor Interface Camera Serial Interface) is a standardized data transfer protocol specifically designed to connect image sensors (such as camera modules) to processors (such as mobile phones, tablets or embedded devices). It was developed by the MIPI Alliance to provide an efficient, low-power and high-speed data transfer channel.

Wrong Dp/Dn, HS mode lane setup, or Advanced Decode options yields incorrect decode. For channel-prefix differences, see Settings.

Decode Settings

MIPI CSI Decode Settings
  • Dp, Dn: Signal channels for CSI-LP mode.
  • HS Mode Channel: Enable HS-mode channel setup. Field enabled (Enable) when checked. Default: cleared.
    • Data Lane: Lane count under CSI-HS mode (1–4). Default: 1. Field enabled (Enable) when HS Mode Channel is checked.
    • Clock+, D0+, D1+, D2+, D3+: Signal channels under CSI-HS mode. Field enabled (Enable) according to Data Lane when HS Mode Channel is checked.
    • Always goes to HS Mode: Ignore Dp/Dn LP status and always decode as HS mode. Field enabled (Enable) when checked (requires HS Mode Channel). Default: cleared.
  • Advanced Decode: Decode data in CSI format. Field enabled (Enable) when checked. Default: checked.
  • Show DCS Command: Decode DCS Command. Field enabled (Enable) when checked (requires Advanced Decode). Default: cleared.
  • Initial Bus Direction: Master → Slave/Slave → Master. Default: Master → Slave.
  • Invert Waveform: Invert the waveform. Field enabled (Enable) when checked. Default: cleared.
