MDIO (Management Data Input/Output)
MDIO, also known as Serial Management Interface (SMI), is a serial bus defined for the Ethernet IEEE 802.3 specification for Media Independent Interface (MII).
Wrong MDC / MDIO wiring or Data Edge yields incorrect decode. For channel-prefix differences, see Settings.
Decode Settings
- MDC: Transfer clock of MDIO.
- MDIO: Transfer data input/output of MDIO.
- Data Edge: Latch data on the MDC rising or falling edge. Default: Rising.
- Enable Preamble Counter: Configurable MDIO Preamble width (4–32 Bit). Field enabled (Enable) when checked. Default: cleared; width 32 Bit.
