EDID (Extended Display Identification Data)

EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) is I2C-based monitor identification data carried on the DDC wire. HDMI, DVI, and VGA support this protocol.

Wrong Address Mode or SCL/SDA wiring yields decode failures. For channel-prefix differences, see Settings.
