MIPI SoundWire 1.2
SoundWire is a hardware interface and transport protocol developed by MIPI. It provides an expandable, simple, low-power, low-latency, two-wire (clock and data) bus for carrying multiple audio streams (for example between amplifiers and microphones) along with embedded control commands.
Max Clock Rate: 12.288 MHz
Decode Settings
- CLK: Transfer clock of SoundWire. Default is cleared.
-
Data: Transfer data of SoundWire. Default is checked.
-
Delay: Fix the position of latching data. Default is 40.
- Bank: There are two types of parameters setting files, Bank0 and Bank1. The Data port (DP) is the source or sink of the Payload Stream on the SoundWire bus, and the DP also divides the Payload Stream into one or more channels for each audio channel. Default is cleared.
- Initial Frame Shape: set the row and column of each setting file. Default is cleared.
- Column: 2~16(Only even). Default is 2.
-
Row: 48~256. Default is 48.
-
Show Packet Table: Show Packet Table (in 2-Dimension). Field enabled (Enable) when checked. Default is cleared.
- Hide all Ping OPCode: Hide all the Ping OPCode in report. Field enabled (Enable) when checked. Default is cleared.
- Ignore SCP Frame Ctrl CMD: Hide all SCP CMD in report for easy reading. Field enabled (Enable) when checked. Default is cleared.
- DPn amount: 1~16, No. DP0~DP15. Default index is 0.
- HStart: The start position of data in Frame Shape. Default is checked.
- HStop: The stop position of data in Frame Shape. Default is cleared.
- Word Length: Data length of each channel in DPn. Default is 0.
- Sample Interval: DPn sample interval. Default is 98.
- Block Package Mode:
- Block per port: Block Offset = Offset1 + (256 * Offset2)
- Block per channel: Block Offset = Offset1, Sub-Block Offset = Offset2.
- *Block Offset range : 0 ~ 65535. Default is checked.
- *Sub-Block Offset range: 0 to 255. Default is cleared.
- *Offset1 range: 0~65535
- *Offset2 range: 0~255
- Channel: Divide a Data Port into separate parts, commonly used for left channel, right channel, and so on. You can use up to 8 channels, in any order.
- Port Flow Mode: It has four modes: Isochronous, Tx-Controlled, Rx-Controlled, and Full-Asynchronous.
- *Isochronous: ‘Normal’ mode, there is no valid data in each Payload Data Block. Default is cleared.
- *Tx-Controlled: ‘Push’ mode, whether the flow-control bit driven by the Source Data Port transmits valid data in the Payload Data Block. Default is cleared.
- *Rx-Controlled: ‘Pull’ mode, whether the flow-control bit driven by the Sink Data Port transmits valid data in the Payload Data Block. Default is cleared.
- *Full-Asynchronous: Whether the flow-control bit driven by the Sink and Source Data Port transmits valid data in the Payload Data Block. Default is cleared.
