LIN 2.2 (Local Interconnect Network)

LIN (Local Interconnect Network) is a low-cost single-wire automotive bus for low-speed peripherals (doors, windows, etc.), complementary to CAN.

Wrong Baud Rate, Checksum, or version fails decode; Auto can detect baud. See Settings for channel prefixes.

LIN Decode Settings
  • LA Channel: Assign the LIN signal channel.
  • Show scale in the waveform: Show bit scale from Baud Rate. Field enabled (Enable) when checked. Default: checked.
  • Import LDF File: Import a LIN Description File. Field enabled (Enable) when checked; then Add files. Default: cleared.
  • Version: LIN specification. Enhanced checksum requires LIN 2.0+. Default: LIN 2.2 / 2.1.
  • Baud Rate: Including Auto. Default: 9600.
  • Checksum: Classic / Enhanced. Default: Classic.
