DMX512 (Digital Multiplex)
DMX512 is a digital communication network standard commonly used to control stage lighting and effects (USITT; EIA/TIA-485 based).
Wrong Baud Rate causes decode failure; use Auto Detect first. For channel-prefix differences, see Settings.
Decode Settings
- Channel: Assign the DMX512 data channel on the logic analyzer0.
- Auto Detect: Auto-detect baud rate. Field enabled (Enable) when checked; manual baud is field disabled (Disable). Default: checked. When cleared, set baud manually; Default manual value: 250000.
Result
Decode results use grayscale; larger values appear lighter.
